Where will we stay?

Accommodations are camp-style lodging including rustic cabins with camp beds, some units with indoor bathroom, others with outdoor shared sinks, showers and flush toilets. These cabins are not heated and temperatures in September can vary greatly in New England. Participants should come equipped with their own bedding and be prepared for brisk nights. You may also set up a tent or bring an RV.

Is food included in the cost?

All meals for humans will be provided from Friday dinner through Sunday lunch. Food will be fresh, home-cooked, and will include vegetarian options.

Where is the camp?

The camp is located on hundreds of undeveloped acres of New England woodland in Hillsboro New Hampshire. The property is not fenced and participants should only bring dogs who are reliable off-leash.

Can my dog be with me all the time?

Dogs are allowed throughout the property except looking up in a pine forestthe dining hall. Dogs that are left alone in cabins should be crated or comfortable taking a break by themselves. Private vehicles will be parked walking distance to the cabins.

My dog is not comfortable with all dogs, can I bring him/her?

This should be fun for your dog so please only bring dogs that will be happy and comfortable being around many other dogs. This is an off leash experience and there will be lots of dogs running around and checking each other out. A dog who is uncertain about some dogs may find the experience overwhelming.

My dog is shy around people, should I bring her/him?

Please talk to us about this. We want this to be a positive, fun experience for all the dogs and people who join us. If your dog is a bit shy of people and you were considering bringing them, talk to us about whether it would be a confidence building experience for them or not.

Anything else I should know?

We advocate and promote positive training techniques. Doggie dress code is buckle collars or harnesses with ID only. Please do not bring a dog who is aggressive toward people or dogs.
